As one of the top selling blenders it is easy to write many good things about the vita-prep 3 1005 in our review. During our demo we were impressed with the control the variable speed gave us from the vita-prep 3 allowing almost exact consistencies. The blade and container design along with the accelerator tool made it easy to do large quantities with out seizing up or having to bang the container around, very nice. We really abused the machine for a few hours straight to see if the vita-prep 3 could handle a restaurant environment and it passed with flying colors, not over-heating once. If you have a restaurant and want to speed up prep, the vita-mix vita-prep 3 has no equal. As far as home use, if you want the best food blender on the market, the vita-prep 3 1005 is it.
